Sliding Scale Pricing
In order to provide services to as many individuals and families in our community as possible, I request your active participation in deciding your contribution level. We are often socialized to see what we lack instead of the big and small privileges we do have.
I offer sliding scale pricing for my death care service packages, my individualized End-of-Life Planning packages, and my Demystify Death Nature Walk workshops.

I offer discounts for couples and friend pairs who enroll in my virtual workshops.
Demystify Death Nature Walks Pricing
Tier 1
Community Access Rate
This tier may be right for you if:
- •I frequently stress about meeting basic needs and don't always achieve them.
- •I have debt that sometimes prohibits me from meeting my basic needs.
- •I am working through survival credit card debt.
- •I have no access to savings.
- •I have no or very limited expendable income.
- •I qualify for government assistance, including food stamps and healthcare.
- •My family does not have access to assets; I send money to my family when I'm able.
- •I rent lower-end properties and may have unstable housing.

Tier 2
Full Share
This tier may be right for you if:
- •I may stress about meeting my needs sometimes but I usually achieve them.
- •I have some debt (including student loans) but it doesn't prohibit me from attaining basic needs.
- •I receive periodic financial assistance from family members or friends.
- •I might have some savings.
- •I can take a vacation annually or every couple of years.
- •I have some expendable income; I am able to have some new items and some thrift.
- •My family has some assets, like owning a home. My housing is stable and mid- to higher-end.
Please pay $30 at check out.
Tier 3
Generous Contribution
This tier may be right for you if:
- •I am able to meet all of my basic needs.
- •I may have some debt but it does not prohibit attainment.
- •I have access to savings and both earned and unearned assets.
- •I can afford an annual vacation and/or take time off without financial burden.
- •I have expendable income.
- •My family has assets like investments and property. Someone else may help contribute to my rent, mortgage, or down-payment, or did contribute at one point in the past.
- •I own my home and/or rent a higher-end property.
- •I have already or anticipate inheriting property, cash, or other assets from family.
- •I own or lease a car.
Your generous contribution enables others in our community to join a workshop without undue hardship. Select the "Full payment + Allow clients to pay extra" option, and add $15 (or more) at check out, so that your price will be $45 (or more).
The sliding scale concept was introduced to me by Going with Grace and informed by my GwG "deathie besties" cohort. Thank you to the Philly Death Doula Collective for sharing their language and Compassionate Crossing for their guide to sliding scale fees for End-of-Life doulas. I acknowledge and appreciate the effort that went into creating such helpful information. By using a sliding scale, I hope that more people in my community are able to access the death care and End-of-Life planning they deserve and that others will feel positively about their acts of generosity.
